Screen resolution problem on Inpirson 8200

I have a Dell Inspirin 8200 with a GeForce4 440 Go. I have tried installing the latest Omega Drivers - 1.6693, but when I do I find my screen resolution can go no higher than 1400 by 1050 (the native resolution of my screen is 1600 by 1200). I have been using the 1.5672a version of the Omgea Drivers instead which do not display this problem, but I do have a very odd bug with the drivers and overlay video (where the video becomes stretched to the full width of the screen), so I'd like to put the newer 1.6693 on.

I've tried other distributions of drivers after Omega said he'd put the nVidia drivers on hold, but all of them have said that I have no valid hardware for the drivers - it seems only Omega puts the recognition code for the Inspiron 8200 into his INF files. Can anyone tell me how to tinker with the INFs to get the 1.6693 drivers to work.

Any help much appreciated!

Tom
