some info would help. you might have a 5 year old card mate.

if in doubt try both, just always remember to use drivercleaner www.drivercleaner.net

newer is not always better. Regeneration does a decent job with the NGO drivers as does the DHzer0point team so you should try both and see what works best for your particular setup

Ive tried the NGO drivers and they werent good at all. Some of my games didnt work with them and video playback was terrible. I still came back to the DHZeropoint drivers after trying the Nvidia 91.33 and NGO drivers.

the DHzp drivers ATI and nvidia include a number of tweaks for video playback quality. Personally the default drivers drive me up a wall for video playback. Thus I've included a number of video playback tweaks. NGO AFAIK does not do anything with video playback, I could be wrong though as I really haven't torn apart his drivers. We are currently working on new drivers to be released as soon as we're satisfied with the quality.

isnt that card way out of updates already? its a freaken fossil!

it was a horrible piece of trash for me when it was in my other comp, was generally featureless, and i would only recommend it for an office PC where no such media would ever be used.

just get rid of it for something decent like an ATI X1K series or Geforce 7 series.....

if you are trying to play HD movies or something, you are out of luck, as disgusting is all i would expect from that card. though it may okay decent low quality media .

and as Zardon said, a 5 year old card is basically what the MX400 is....... though its probably only 4 or so years, still junk

try it...... if it doesnt work after that, get a new card.....

what are you trying to do with this card exactly? if you expect to play any games with nice textures or really..... play games AT ALL........ move on, that thing couldnt even play halo decently at anything above 640x480

decently meaning decent FPS........... the graphics were horrible as theres no shader capability for that card......

its no surprise that you have crappy playback, just get a X1650 card or 7600GS........seriously dude you just cant get more from that card you have its so old and the drivers have updated it to the max that its just too old......

NGO v2.15822 game me best for performance I had a 40fps increase with my benches but the IQ wasn't good in games if you was a mixture of performance and IQ I would use XTreme-G 162.18 http://www.tweaksrus.com
