PLUS! these things dont even look that great. The 42.xx drivers looked a LOT better and played Nice as hell too!

whats up with these drivers? Am i useing them wrong? or are these just not ment for my card?

Anyhoo, im goin back to some good o'l OMEGA drivers for the time.....

Peace,
MG

These drivers are better for me then the 42.86 set.Ive had no problems, and an increase of FPS in all games. My score in 3dMark 2001 had an increase of 150 points, nothing big, BUT up is better then down.

I don't think they would do much good on my GeForce2 MX400.
EDIT: Interestingly enough though, I noticed that my card is from PNY! Well, I'm still waiting for someone with a similar configuration to mine to post some feedback. I wanna make sure these weren't optimized for only the newest cards. Also, that whole bullet-disappearing thing is still plaguing these drivers. And, I just can't trust that back-stabbing shit nVidia is trying to pull with 3dmark03. They just want the scores to be higher so people will buy their cards. Not a good way to gain customers nVidia!

Well after reading all the negative comments here, I was surprised they worked pretty well for me! They're keepers for me! Really nice sharp images and colors, and they performed well in both new and old versions of 3D Mark.

I finally got round to downloading and installing them. I lost 2000 3dmarks in 3dmark2k1, also lost 15 fps in UT2003 flyby. Haven't tried anything else, just got rid of them. Sticking with the 42.86.

Same here!!!

My Verto 4200 TI ran SLOW AS CRAP with these drivers.

(mine is the 64 mb version) Dont know if that would have anything to do with it..... But ehhhh

they suck if you ask me.... (it would be one thing if they sucked at frame rate and looked GOOD.... But they sucked on looks and Frame rate for me...... 42.86's work GREAT for me! )

Anyhoo.... anyone have a clue to why these things suck so bad? And Also why they dont improve visual??

Anyways,

Peace

42.90 42.86 42.82??

ok which is newer???

42.82 I THINK is newer.... But not sure.....

also why has no one talked about the 42.90's?

Which one do you guys think works best? Im using 42.86, mostly cuz the 43's suck and I thought that the 42.86's where the next step down....

But should I go to 42.90's? are they newer or are the 42.86's or 42.82's newer?

ok thanks....

All u high-performance card owners are having problems so maybe my original theory is wrong. Maybe these drivers were meant for my GeForce2 MX 400. But, I really don't wanna mess up my current setup so I want to get some feedback from people who have a similar video card to mine. All u 4200, 4400 owners seem like these drivers are bad for your cards. Any GeForce2 owners out there care to share some feedback about these new drivers?

I've tried just about every setting, and tweak.... but these driver just dont want to play. So I am using the 42.86's now.... Seem to work ok for me ... until another one comes out!

BUT... Im thinkin ... MAYBE, I've been testing these drivers in OpenGL... Could these be optimized for D3D? Just a thought...

Anyhoo, Im keeping an Eye outfor newer, "BETTER" ones. ( yeah... right...)

Can I get a couple mirror direct links please? I use DAP and it isn't getting triggered by the other links.

Firstly disable DAP... and you can get any driver that you could possibly want from here.

If you use a download accelerator your IP will be banned from the downloads server... and you will be unable to get a file at all. You have been warned. Single connection .. the dedicated server is fast ... so you wont need an accelerator anyways

good luck!
