DHzer0point ForceWare 0.9291

Added support for all existing Desktop, Laptop, and Workstation cards [Go series, TNT through 7950GX2, and Quadro] If your card does NOT work, let us know, as obviously we don’t have every card to test with.

Written from the ground up…no recycled INF files.

Tweaks include, but aren’t limited to
* MipMap and LOD tweaks
* 4:1 lossless LZMA Z-Buffer
* Intellisample Tweaks
* Blit Queue Limited to Frame Buffer
* Texture Compression tweaks to eliminate “banding” in OpenGL
* Multisample Transparency AntiAliasing
* Overclocking Support [Single GPU Systems]
* Overclocking Support & SLi AntiAliasing Support [Multi GPU SLi Systems]

Brand new installer system written from scratch
* No more self extracting compression archives that fill your desktop with driver folders
* Supports multiple install options [currently limited to SLi or Single GPU…more to come]
* Compressed via LZMA for maximum efficiency [27 MBs as opposed to 32 for the nVidia Release]

As always, get your copy at www.driverheavendownloads.net, and support is offered at www.hardwareheaven.com via the forums.

Is there any GoForce 7400 support?I've also asked before when DHzer0point 0.8466 is released : http://www.hardwareheaven.com/showthre...=110018&page=3 , i hope it's added even if there is no news about that

Can I just install those over the original 92.91 Betas or do I need to make a proper DCleaning first? First time I'm having an Nvidia card in years Thanks!

I'd driverclean first just to be safe

Not drivercleaning shouldnt hurt anything, but it may cause all the tweaks to not "take" properly, and thus ruin the full effect

Well in world of warcraft before I could look at the ground and see the lines seperating the texture quality. now i can see perfectly as far as my eyes can tell. I also dont have to go as heavy on the antialiasing to make it look good.Suprisingly i havent taken a performance hit (yet). Lets see how they hold up in a 40 man raid.

WoW was one we tested a good bit on, as some of the texture tweaks would cause the PC to freeze up when you Alt-Tabbed back to the desktop

Glad you like em tho...and yes, do let us know how they hold up to a large troll bashing party

I just started using nHancer and plan on using it for the foreseeable future.. Nvidia's profile system lately has been complete crap.. if it works at all (92.91 doesn't).

So what happens? I would like to try these, but I won't if it messes up my nHancer profiles.

I am using 1.2.2

For instance my RBR abd GTR2 profiles.. nHancer rules...

I haven't tested it with enhancer BWX, that's one I didn't get to....everything registers fine with the new CP, old CP, and RivaTuner. I'll look into nHancer, or perhaps just doing all the XML myself for the next revision

Mind you, if profiles are broken in 92.91, I won't much be able to fix that, and my guess is that's where the problem lies with nHancer...what i can do for future releases is write my own nvApps.xml. I will look into it though, after work tonight.

PS - there is a beta version of nHancer out that is supposed to be most excellent...it's what I'll be trying tonight

Yeah the profiles are broken for my in 92.91... but it only "breaks" when you open up the profiles in the regular NV CP.. It basically erases them after you even look at them.. nHancer when started automatically detects this problem, and asks you if you want to apply your settings, and it fixes it.

I would definitely try to get nHancer to work with you drivers... because it is so much better than anything Nvidia has. So I hope making your own nvApps.xml won't "break" nHancer's functionality when using the modded drivers.

About getting those reg errors after installing the drivers.. I had a strange problem where my PC was detecting a PCI device and couldn't install the drivers for it the last time I changed drivers.. it was fixed after i ran nHancer once, so maybe that is just an nHancer problem nothing related to drivers at all except the fact that you just changed them.

yeah I might try the new beta version of nHancer too... although this version works great too.

edit- are you talking about nHancer 2.0 Beta 9 (32bit) ?

DHzer0point 0.9291 :D

When I had my old ATI 9600XT I used the ATi DHzer0point drivers and they were the only ones I used at the time, I tried others but these never felt laggy in games. Ill try them for my nvidia card now, should be fun to take them threw there paces. I'll let you know how it goes .

good to hear viper, and yes...please do post results

and yes, that's the Beta i'm talkin about BWX...i've read good things.

And i'm gunna be analyzing how nHancer works, but i think it edits the nvApps.xml file, so making my own would essentially be doing it a favor

The only issue lies in getting all the XML syntax right, since XML is kinda picky, especially when dealing with other entities like driver/reg settings too

Thumbs Up! Good Drivers

These drivers are pretty good, I like them a little better then the XG 9291 drivers I been using for a week. You guys do good work.. congrats I'm gonna be using these now. It all comes down to which ones you feel give you less clipping and more fps and good gameplay. If I don't like how one plays ingame I'll try the other and see if that one is more smooth and stay with that one til next the next round of releases.

hi people

one stupid question:
Why is it set on High Performance by default???
DHzer0 were always on high quality oriented or am I wrong?
Should I leave all advanced settings or if I change something (f.e. Transparency aliasing from Multisampling(default) to Supersampling (isnt it better?) or from Force mipmaps (trilinear default) to none (wasnt that always on none?)

Sorry for my newbie question!
Keep up with good work !!!

Trilinear is correct, and supersampling is about a 1% visual improvement at about a 5-10 FPS performance hit, so it's hardly worth it [you can barely notice a visual improvement, but it tremendously degrades smoothness]

As for high qualtiy vs. high performance, did you run driver cleaner after unisntallign the old drivers, ro did you just isntall over top of them, because that doesn't sound right, no....I'm at school right now in the CS lab, so I can't check it for certain [DeepFreeze makes upgrading drivers useless ], but I'll look when I get home.

I did complete Driver Cleaner Routine...Thanx for explanations, as for High Performance, should I set it to High Quality or just Quality ? and Triple Buffering is ON and Negative LOD Bias is on ALLOW is these setting correct too? If yes then I hope its just this High Performance slider....Thanx in advance!
