well i had the latest patch so now i thought iīd try without it

and the resukt is the same this is from F.E.A.R extraction point with same drivers and the second is from oblivion both taken by fraps

just one question what should i have nad what shouldnīt i have enabled in the Nvidia CP

wich options and wich not?

no corruption there

i donīt have that kinda corruption during play but still some characters and animals are huge yellow warning signs never seen anythin like it in a game

the card canīt be faukty if it was it should show corruptio in 3DMARK tests and it doesnīt in any of the three

so any ideas what drivers should i try 84,91,92?

but with other drivers that corruption isnīt there neither in actual play but if i use these drivers 96.89 and take a screenshot in oblivion i get that in the screen shot but ingame donīt show that.

i wonder why i canīt see that corruption when i run around in oblivion but in still shots it is like that and only with 96.89
not with 91.47whql
and with the latest DHzero based on92.91 i think

no corruption in screen shots there neither

same pic with 91.47 and DHzero 92.91 shows no corruption
how come?

ok
well i guess the card is ok after all maybe it is someting with the driver it self.

perhaps a newer driver can resolve this

well thx anyways it is weird since it is only one driver set that does this butnot the older ones.

System Specs

Are you trying to Run HDR and AA at the same time in Oblivion? Like AA in the games profile (located in the control panel) and HDR in the game?

yeah kind of

so that is whatīs causing those wired big yellow warning signs and that coruption when taking a screen shot?

another question is those profiles are they somhow configurated or do i have to configure them my self?

i have two options global settings and those other ones like 3Dmark a few options per version

and games are these already configured or how does it work?

running these with the laptop3go info for my laptop and they run pretty well. Actually beter then the 92.31 set

yeah petri,

HDR + MSAA doesn't work on nvidia cards currently

HDR+SSAA does though. (its slow as though)

Super Sampling Antialiasing

it renders the image at a high resolution (usually 2048x1600 ) then scales it back to the current resolution.

well did a benchmark in dark messiah might and magic in fraps

and i got this with 98.69 but mine says ASUS in the start uup whe i installed these well same drivers i guess
so here is my results

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
16455, 393711, 0, 97, 41.795



and everything was maxed out in game settings and 16xAF 4xAA in card settings



Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg 12375, 210463, 16, 62, 58.799





well this is Quake 4 on ultra settings 1280x1024

so there are some late benches on these drivers


well some more bench results this is lost coast

ahh ALSO, in the case of Lost Coast, HDR + AA works becoz its in an Integer format,.. Floating point HDR doesn't work on NV40 or G70


it works in G80 though ^_^ 128bit HDR and 64bit colour

YES! i said 64bit colour , the DAC on G80 is 10bit and allows for over 1billion colours
