that release is flawed

the inf is broken in several places... firstly, the driver version format is wrong

Is that your own statement or are you just applying others?!

Cause it's working like a charm on my rig!

I just put up a new link with the original file and a modified nv4_disp.inf file for the ones who experience problems.

no, its the experience of a great many people.

OWA's inf doesn't properly report the localisable strings

some of the cp reg entries are missing (becoz G80 uses a different nv_4 string then G70 and lower, and the driver version is formatted wrong.

OWA is a moron!
He modifies the nv4_disp.inf file after his own rig!

ALLWAYS use LaptopVideo2Go's modified nv4_disp.inf file, they allways work!
If they're not online when a new driver is spotted, just wait, could take 1 or 2 days max!

No not like that!

But like this:

1. Download the Windows XP/2K International version & the modified nv4_disp.inf file in the first post of this thread!

2. Extract the driver with WinRAR or whatever!

3. Copy the modified nv4_disp.inf file over the original nv4_disp.inf file in the extracted driver directory!

4. Install the driver!

5. Reset your PC!

Et voila!

:P i've already updated my infs and combined the G80 and the normal inf to be one inf.

its working fine so far.

i noticed though :|

that the 96.xx infs have changes in the nvmodes section,.. compared to the 91.xx infs :|
