Yeah, well, according to your sig, you already have 2 8800GTXs, so that's normal. But I doubt it does aything for the rest of us.

This is my main rig, not the only one I use/test!

Don't know about you, but I think people have alot to gain with the posts on this thread!
Btw, the less people post (issues), the better, don't you think?!
If you check out the posts about this driver at Guru3D for example you see people have all kinds of issues due to the lame modified nv4_disp.inf files people post over there!

Yes and no!
You see, I spend most of the time connecting, installing, configuring, tweaking, testing and figuring out the issues of the hardware/software so I can advise our customers!
Only got the weekends for some actual gaming and even those days I don't have enough time you see?!

Yes they actually work very well, I've tested them myself on a 7900GTX and even in a SLI config!

Works like a charm!

Don't forget to insert the modified nv4_disp.inf file in the driver directory before installing!

do you fully modify the inf, becoz SedonaDisable=2 is missing from the original inf, this is why the option to switch cp's is missing (a setting of 1 disables the switcher, and being missing is like a setting of 1.)

:P nvm,.. i've updated my own modded inf, it now also installs for G80 cards.. just have to add the other 3 G80 lines to the device string list...

can someone link me up with the unmodified 97.02 inf?

sorry bout the noob post, but...

Why are these newer than the version on nvidia's homepage? are they modified? and whats the modified .inf file all about? And also, i tried to download these and they wouldnt work on my computer. It said it was incompatible with my graphics card. But i have 6150LE.

These are newer because they're not officially released for "ALL" videocards by nVidia!

No they're not modified, but you can modify them so you can use it on your nVidia GeForce 6150LE by trying this:

1. Download the English or the International version & the modified nv4_disp.inf file in the first post of this thread!
2. Extract the driver with WinRAR or whatever!
3. Copy the modified nv4_disp.inf file over the original nv4_disp.inf file in the extracted directory!
4. Install the driver!
5. Reset your PC!

Et voila!

ok, i used winrar and extracted the english drivers(they were .exe though not .rar) and i copied the modified .inf, and ran setup.exe. But during the installation, it said the product has not passed windows testing. I pushed continue anyway. But then it came up with an error saying nvdispsr.dll could not be found. I looked in the directory and in the engine32.cab file, and didnt find it. but winrar couldnt open data1.cab and data2.cab. it said they were corrupted.

same problem with that .inf. I'll give the rest of my specs:

Windows Media Center Edition
Nvidia Geforce 6150LE
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
512mb ram

btw, all of the actual driver files are in the main driver folder.. theres none in engine32.cab.

did you uninstall your old video driver first?

if you have an nforce chipset, make sure to select
uninstall only the following
then tick display drivers
