On my 7950 gx2 I'm using the Official nVidia 93.71 and everything works fine. However try the NGO 93.71 or DH zer0point 92.91, see if those are better.

On a side note: how do the official ones screw up exactly?

yes....how do they "screw up"? Make sure to register your product if you haven't done so already. And then, if we can't help you here in the forums, you can contact us 24/7 at eVGA.

You can't use Omega's driver on that card...

BTW, I've been talking to a couple guys that have 7950GX2s, and every single one of them has said NOT to use the latest drivers with it. Each one has gone back to using either the offical nVidia or the NGO 91.47s.

there is a known issue w/the 93.71 drivers the gx2, and and some AM2 boards...particularly w/the ASUS M2N32-SLI Delux. The issue is that you cannot get the card to run in SLI mode.
I'm not sure if this is the only board it happens to, but i know that people have been reporting a few other things that don't work right w/the gx2 and the 93.71s |

You need a SLI motherboard to use gx2 in sli-mode? Also I'm using Gx2 with 93.71 with no problems.

In any case, there is a pretty big list on nVidias site of compatible/tested boards right HERE. If you look you will see quite a lot of boards that are not SLI. Pretty much any Intel chipset from 945 up will work as long as the bios has been written to support it. Even the A8R32-MVP Deluxe is on the list and that's an ATI chipset driven board. So again, an SLI capable board is not necessary. However, it does make things less... complicated.. when trying to figure out what is going on when the card decides to be picky. |

Yeah I know my MB was on the list, but wasn't quite sure if I would get the full performance. Thanks for clearing it up
