lol, sorry. i didn't know you were running winXP x64

ouch! that's a big hit there in the performance market. the likely reason is because of that insufficent power error message your getting. It might be showing you the stock clocks, but possibly only for 2D mode, not 3D mode, which again would be related to that error. What kind of PSU are you running now? How many amps does it provide you on the 12v rail(s)?

o.O yea if that's what it says on the 12v rail for amps, that's way below spec. at least for the EVGA cards, but i'm sure it's the same for ASUS and everybody else as they are from the NVIDIA reference boards. You want to have something that has 28a on the 12v rail minimum.

hey cds, is the BFG 1000W PS any good? it doesn't seem to have the required amps in its 12v rails though... am i right?

oh, wait, i got it now, i think my enermax 620w has 44amps total 'cause it has 2 12 rail. therefore it is ok? lol, i don't really know how to read the amps on power supplies.

err it depends, is that 22a on 1 rail, or is it a dual rail psu with 22a on both?

well, if you want, check out sli zone on NVIDIA's website. there will be PSUs certified by NVIDIA for the kind of gfx card(s) you'll be using. i'd link it, but ATM, my internet is acting up
