??? The screen is not positioned correctly in Linux with my nVidia FX Card

Hi! I have a Geforce FX5200 128Mb AGP8x and some time ago i went to try linux!
And I loved it!! Even if i found some problems!

And the most visible one is in the screen positioning.

It seems that for some reason (not the drivers) instead of the screen render starts in the origin (left side) it just starts some pixels after, leaving a black portion of screen on the right and on the left i cant see the whole screen cause it is "out of the monitor"

and this as nothing to do with the position controls in the monitor cause it is already at 0 and it is an LCD - LG Flatron L1511S 15" .

So I was wondering... Do you have/had this problem? How can I fix it?

As i mentioned above, i've already try to update the drivers but the problem is still there.
The linux I used Was the "Ubuntu6.06" and Portuguese Distro "Caixa Magica 10 Desktop"
