No nVidia Control Panel ?
I just removed the leadtek drivers and Installed 41.09 from Nvidia Website And now there are no setting for the card under Display Properties. Has anybody had this problem before I would like to be able to turn Ansio and stuff up but they are not thier. The games seem to run fine though.

The 41.09 drivers indeed have a control panel.
The previous drivers if they are not completely uninstalled, there will be incompatabilities with the control panels, and the control panel will not install correctly. I have run into this a few times. Good luck! |

Uninstall your video card drivers through control panel/ add remove programs. Then when you reboot, press cancel when it asks you to install the video card. Go to your C: drive and delete the Nvidia folder. Type regedit in your "run" box goto Hkey_local_machine/software/nvidia corperation and delete the Nvidia corperation key just to be safe goto Hkey_current_user/software/nvidia corperation and delete that key as well Run the 30.xx to 40.xx fix. Then run NFR and delete all the nvidia files in there. then install the new drivers. If the driver you download does not have a setup file in the file you unzip, just go to your device manager and select display adapter and choose update driver. then choose select "install from a list or specific location" then choose "don't search" then "have file" and browse to your file you unzipped the driver to and it will recognize the .inf file and install the driver. After you go through this once, changing drivers is pretty much just going to add/remove programs and uninstalling it, rebooting, and installing the new one. This works for me every time. (I don't use the 30 to 40 fix because I don't use the 30.xx drivers. I have changed drivers up to 8 times in one day to compare them, and this always works. I only suggest the 30.xx to 40.xx fix becuase I don't know what else has been on your machine and if you don't re-install any 30.xx drivers you won't ever have to run that again. I always run NFR after a new detonater instalation to make sure there are no left over old driver files in there older than my new ones. (NFR will show you all the driver files installed without deleting them- it just displays them all and gives you the option to delete them, but you don't have to- so don't be afraid to run the program after you install your new drivers) Good luck.
