Intel 975xbx2 and SLI ?

Hey all,

i used the search but wasnt able to find an answer yet.
I recently upgraded my sytem to a Core Duo 6700 on an Intel 975xbx2 board. I want to use my old cards with this board which are 2 GForce 7800 GTX. I installed the latest NVidia drivers but it wont show the option to enable SLI even though both cards are listed in the system information.
Now ive read a few times that a modded driver is needed to use SLI on this board. Is this true? If so, which driver is it and where can i find it?

Thanks for your help!

Oh, and do i have to use a bridge to connect both cards? On my old board (Asus A8N SLI) i had to connect both cards with a piece of hardware... but somehow on this Intel board the size of the bridge makes it unusable...

Hi there and welcome to DH!

SLI is not not supported in that motherboard.
