Dradden is on a distinguished road

Need help with my FX 5600

I just switched OS from XP to windows server 2003 Enterprise. So far really happy, it is much faster. Have had no problems installing all my other drivers, games, software.

Except for my vid card drivers. I have tried the stock drivers and the omegas. On both when i reboot i am stuck at 4bit colour and it won't let me change it. Maybe i am installing the wrong drivers. Pretty sure i had the right ones. My buddies have also switched over to this OS and they have had no problems.

My Rig:

CPU: Athlon 2500-M
Mobo: Abit NF7-S
Ram: 1GB PC 3200 Samsung
Vid card: FX 5600 256MB
OS: Windows server 2003 Enterprise (32-bit)

I can't really give any more info on the vid card. A friend gave it to me. I know it worked fine on XP with the blanket drivers i downloaded from Nvidias main site.

Any help would be appreciated...i need to game! :P

Well, the drivers for Server 2003 32-bit should be the same as the drivers for XP/2000, so you're probably getting the right ones.
Have you made sure Hardware Acceleration is enabled in the Display Properties?
