Big Problem - Installing Any Video Driver causes Montior - OFF
Anyone able to help me with installing AGP Drivers?
Every time i install them, at end of installation when it switches Refresh rate or Resolution my Monitor turns off and the light goes from Green to Orange. I then have to reset my computer, and unless i go to VGA Mode or SAFE MODE, my Normal Bootup where it says Log In, my screen turns of every time. Any way to fix? I got AOC 9k Monitor and AGP NVIDA 6600GT *This happened after i exited my game and my monitor turned of and has happened since.* |

Can you check the monitors operation on another computer? Or try another monitor on yours? It would help narrow the problem down some.

i Tried another montior on this computer and same thing happened. Last nite i managed to get nivida normal drivers working for 2 minuites before it went into standby mode again.
I cant seem to figure out what is causing it apart from it ONLY happens when i have a video driver installed. |

Try disabling Power management features for standby in your system BIOS (restart and hold down the Delete key to enter system BIOS).
See if that will help any? |

If you're using the anaolg output, that's what you're getting. You could try using system restore to return to a time when it didn't happen. If you have access to another AGP card, try installing it and set the windows refresh rate and display settings to a low setting. Then re-install your 6600.
