Best driver for GeForce4 TI + CS 1.6
I have been searching around for a while to get the best driver for this graca. Recently i've tried the StarStorm 44.67p, SS 53.03XQ, Z-tweaked 84.20 and XG 76.41-hd. It seems that the XG are the best for cs, definitely NOT the XQ version of SS (it all seemed too detailed and at the same time choppy). The only game i play is Counter Strike 1.6 so i don't care if the drivers are old or smth, i just need the best performance (and not too low on quality). Sometimes it seems too laggy when i shoot (my xhair stays big for a too long time and i haven't got this in the past, like 2 years ago
), could it be because i have a DX 8 card and i have DX 9 installed? or maybe because of win service pack 2 ?? Should i try xp sp1?thx for your advice |

Try Omega's 69.33 or 61.77. They would probably work great for you.
And actually, there was some guy with the userid savage-xp or something like that on Guru3D who tweaked drivers built from a G4Ti system. His might be good to check out, too.
