NVIDIA geforce 7800 GS OC drivers

I was using ATI cards before this one, am new to the product, which driver would be best for this card? I notice that the drivers are discontinued at some point, should I just use the official site ones? thx a lot in advance.

the 93.71s are the latest drivers. they are a bit old though, dated November 2, 2006.

or, you can use the 93.81 beta drivers. Not much newer though.

note: those two drivers are for winXP sp2. you are using winXP right? if not, let us know! .

what card did you have installed before this 7800 card? if you had another NVIDIA card, then yea. you can just go and put in this card and you're good to go!

but, if you want to use those drivers, then yes, you would need to uninstall the current drivers and then install the newer driver you choose.

if you had an ATI card in there previously, then you would want to definately uninstall the old drivers before installling these ones.

you might also want to look into DriverCleaner to make sure you have thouroughly removed the old display drivers if you will be removing drivers
