Best driver for spiderman 3
Hello
I have a 7800 GS 512 MB AGP card from Gainward, dual processors and 1024 MB's of RAM. My question is - what driver will be most suited for Spiderman 3 or at least make the graphics card most stable? Spiderman 3 crashes a lot and I think it is graphics card oriented.... If there are any other suggestions to why it may crash I'd be happy to hear them ![]() Thanks in advance |

You may be right! I think it's the same problem that I find with Spinter Cell Double Agent for the PC - it's just lousy ports of console versions. Someone ought to complain about it. It sucks big time that these f...ing game-companies get away with putting a broken product on the market. And then, as is the case with SCDA, they don't fix it with a decent patch and leave us pc-gamers hanging out to dry. Perhaps there is a lesson in this for me not to buy ports but I don't own a console. I could get a refund but hopes are golden and I was waiting for a patch... BEING A PC-GAMER SUCKS!!! Phew - felt good to get off my chest.

New development!
I'm sure it's my videocard since it, when crashing, says that there is a problem with the display driver. Windows suggest that I decrease hardware acceleration but I can't because I need that to run the game. What I need is an up to date but stable driver for the card - any suggestions? PS: The game runs fine at the beginning but then it's like something gets worn out... |

As the game has crash issues with Vista, which is solved by turnning AA OFF in the Nvidia CP. |

Try setting the game to run one one core/processor. Hit ctrl+alt+del and right click the game process then click set affinity. Uncheck one of the boxes.
