Read Before Installation of ANY Drivers

Hi, I am a new member yes, but as I am reading the comments upon the new driver post, there are various individuals replying that they may not install it, with a series 6 graphics card. I have a series 6 graphics card, and the key is to give a clean installation of the driver.

Here is the directions to installation:

1) Add/Remove Programs -> NVIDIA -> Delete Current Graphic Card Driver

"Chipsets" - Remove Only -> NVIDIA Display Driver
"Normal Cards" - Nvidia Display Driver -> Remove

2) Reboot your computer

3) Download a NVIDIA full uninstallation "Cleaner" of your choice, I recommend
Driver Cleaner
http:\\www.drivercleaner.net

After Installation of this program, Run, select nVidia and press clean

4) This is very important, for inside the registry of previous installations, there is residue files which conflict with your new driver install and so download this program to rid your system of the conflicts.
Registry Cleaner > Free Download & Scan > Uniblue Registry Booster 2

*This Program is not free, it will only at first let you remove 15 conflicts/errors, get this program in any manner you want, and if members need the program and ask me WITHIN THE THREAD, I will upload the files for you*

5) Reboot after scan and fix of the registry

6) Install Omega drivers or any specific drivers you wish to install

7) Finished! Congrautlations!

PS: Please leave a comment in the thread if you have any difficulties, I will try to do my best to assist you in every way possible.
*Also, even though I am a new member, I would appreciate if this would be stickied/pinned, I think it would save a lot of new users in how to install the drivers*

Thank you,
Nathan/KoreanEvoke

I don't think you need to link to another site for driver cleaner, considering it's developed in house here on Driverheaven, and has a support forum dedicated to it and other tools developed by DH staff
