Ok, so I'm asking if the latest Nvidia Omega Driver (Currentlyv2.169.21) is stable and ok to use, because in a lot of the threads i'm seeing here, alot of people seem to have problems with a crash like thing happening on start-up. Is this normal, was it ever fixed? Is the latest driver ok to use?
My system specs are: Intel Pentium 4 2.0 Ghz overclocked to 2.4 Ghz 1 gigabyte of RAM Nvidia Geforce 6200 256MB Windows XP 32 bit with Service Pack 2 Which one should I use though, the Omega Drivers (If it's OK to use) or the latest Nvidia Driver (175.16)? Which one is more stable and fixed? I apologize if i'm asking alot, i'm really new to all this stuff. Thanks in advance. |

Appears to me Omega isn't doing any driver mods anymore. He released a quick one back in January but that's it. And that was his first Nvidia release in over a year.
So I'd suggest going with the 175.16 official for now, until Omega decides he wants to get back into driver mods. You could also try XG Drivers from tweakforce if you want. tweakforce.com Forums-viewtopic-Xtreme-G 175.16 XP/2000 |
