again refresh rate problem

i have the problem that i cannot set the refresh rate over 60 in games.
i tried different tools and drivers.
some examples:

omega and the refresh force 1.10:
nothing happens. refresh rate in jedi knight2 or half life is at 60

omega and nvidia refresh rate fix mkII:

when i start jedi knight the game screen is in the upper left corner like in windowed mode and i cannot change back

newest nvidia drivers errr 44.03 and nvidia refresh rate fix mk II
after reboot i have 1024 x 786 and when i try to change back to 1280x1024 i get the message that the driver was programmed for an older version of windows ??

some of my system specs:
win xp w. service pack2
gforce ti 4200
