Yes, it works with 177.79 and the new Physx Driver. I tested Moh Airborne, Graw 2, Mass Effect, RS:Vegas 2 and Warmonger the difference is rather remarkable even on the 320mb GTS. Gameplay is a lot smoother and there's new effects in all those games.

Only game which was buggy of those was Graw2, maybe that one doesn't work properly.

GRAW and GRAW2 have always seemed to be a bit "Buggy" with the PHYS-X drivers running in a standalone software environment.
However they seem to be ok IF you have a PHYS-X Card installed and are running the PHYS-X as a COMPLETE system. ( Software and hardware)
there are 2 downsides to this though 1) a PHYS-X card will set ya back nearly $ 200.00 and last i knew only BFG and ASUS made a PHYS-X Card. 2) Even if you have a PHYS-X card it won't help that much if your computer lacks in one of the "Golden three" ( CPU, Video, Ram ) .
However, I can tell you from experience that GRAW2 ROCKS when using a PHYS-X card and the software in a 64 bit OS environment with 8GB of RAM. The highest settings are plain INSANE.. Plus the "Extra" level AGEIA ISLAND ( Phys-x Card owners can play it) is kinda Cool..
BTW- The PHYS-X card it self is a dedicated PPU ( Physics Processing Unit ) having the card takes ALOT of strain of of your graphics card in regard to PHYSICS processing..
anyway if your interested here are the links to the 2 PHYS-X cards I know to be availible.. Enjoy!

Physx cards are a complete waste of money now. The latest drivers allow SLI setups to have one card do PPU and the other GPU...now that 8800GT's are going for just over a 100 bucks it makes little sense to get a dedicated PPU card when a powerful video card costs less.

I was searching to see if you needed to download any extra patches per game for the extra effects. Good to here though.

Also were there any other settings you needed to change or was in just install and play?

What specific things did you notice that changed in Mass Effect, Vegas 2 ?

Honestly, I played each game for less than five minutes just to see if the Physx was working so you'll have to take it with a grain of salt.

I did notice that the framerate in Vegas 2 had become much smoother and their was some sort of shockwave effect from throwing grenades (barely played the game but I don't recall this normally). Mass Effect I've played much longer so I spotted the difference in character animations and a ton of effects during battles which weren't as pronounced before; water also looked improved.

Sometimes I don't have less than 5 min to check it.

I played it for a little bit too, there are some huge differences, mostly with explosions. The fire from the incendiary grenade looks fluid and amazing, the flash and smoke grenades send out a shock while kicking up dust and debri, R6 is also a lot smoother and more responsive. We are talking 10-15 sec to get to the main screen compared to 30.

This download is a must for 8 series users.

Those are the same things I noticed, especially the quicker menus. It's certainly more incentive to replay some of the PhysX titles we may have skipped.

I recommend MOH: Airborne, I couldn't believe how smooth it was during the beginning of Der Flakum (your plane gets ripped apart and you're sucked out the back) with these drivers. Also, there's plenty of physics at work with bodies flying around and getting to bash the nazi's with your gun
