OpenGL 3.0-supporting GeForce 177.89 drivers up for grabs

After whipping off the tears shed for Q2's $121 million loss Santa Clara's Nvidia got back to work and, while attending Siggraph 2008, it already had something new to offer, the 177.89 display driver. Featuring OpenGL 3.0 support, the 177.89 is dated August 12 (the 177.83 is dated August 2nd) and works with GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9 and GTX 200 series cards. This release doesn't come bundled with PhysX software but you can download the 8.08.01 version from this page.
