GeForce 9 and Windows 2000 support

I really want to downgrade back to 2k for gaming purposes. Does anyone know if the most recent XP drivers are compatible with 2k or whether there are any modded drivers I could use?

Just incase anyone stumbles across this thread. The xp nvidia drivers install on windows 2000.

Strangely, i don't see the point of running Win 2000 for gaming purpose

In my opinion, according to benchmark results, you should stick to Win XP.
As far as i know, the kernel is the same for both OS but drivers are way better optimized for XP
