exclamation Issue with FS2002 and the 44.03 drivers

I had been running FS2002 with the 43.45 Omega drivers and found excellent performance with them. Absolutely the best driver upgrade I've ever used.

I downloaded the 44.03 driver set this morning, anticipating more of the same. Unfortunately, matters deteriorated rapidly.
The screen rendition was simply terrible, and not even good enough to operate the sim.

Upon reversion to the 43.45 driver set, all was well once again: Great graphical rendition and smooth performance. Since the only difference was the driver set, I am forced to conclude that there is a problem with it. I really don't know what the cause for this might be.

I report this in the hope it will provide useful information.

System specs:

System Board ASUS P4B, Pentium IV 2 Ghz, SDRAM 1024 MB, Geforce Ti4200 128 MB, Win Me.

Just run the game on the older driver. "Newer" does not always equal "Better."

Question. I'm currently running on 30.82 because I've had NO game crashes with this driver unlike pervious nvidia drivers. I used to constantly update my drivers looking the the perfect one. When I found it (30.82), I stopped My driver update trend. Do you recommended updateing to version 43.45 ?
