Many of us can attribute to the usefulness of RefreshLock. Heck, even the C/O drivers bundle it in, if that's not a testament to its usefulness, I don't know what is.

RefreshLock is a simple, small app that fixes the Windows 2K/XP refresh rate issue. The best part about it is that the changes it makes aren't permanent, so you don't have to worry about corrupting your registry.

Works for Radeon cards. Greg does good work and always sets things up so you can uninstall. Give it a try.
