Inf Error??
HEy everyone, I D/l the new nvidia drivers, got driver cleaner, delted all the .cab files, and nvidia files. then installed the drivers. WTF, i get a INF error, line not found in file or something like that, it wont even get passed the ' VGA DEVICE FOUND screeen now. Anyone know whats going on?? I tried flashign the bios again..nothing happend, stil the same error. HELP!!

I am looking into this problem. It has to do with the new drivers. I bet that you are trying to install 45.23 or maybe 45.24

yea, I have the same problem too, cleaned the registry, deleted the files and stuff like that and still nothing, same inf error, and no I'm not trying to install 45.23 ,I try to install ANY detonator and I'm not able to. This happened to me after installing and later deinstalling 45.23 drivers. Please HELP

If you can manually unpack the drivers, then look for the needed inf file (you need to enable "view hidden" files ) copy this to Winnt/inf folder, and try again

No, still the same error, though it now recognizes the card at start, but still doesn't let me install them :<

What i think is that nvidia changed something since 45.** in the inf file. What i don't know and am still looking. If i can find it out than i can fix it. So when you install like 45.** and than uninstall and use dc and install a new driver the problem starts. If you had a version before 45.** installed and use dc than no problem. I also tried to contact nvidia and nothing back, looks like they won't help me. If anyone finds something please tell me. I will start some new test and see if i can replicate it and fix it.
