Troubles with GTA3 starting, nvidia drivers maybe ???

Well my problem is that GTA3 will not start anymore, ive tried reinstall, ive tried the update for GTA3 and no luck. It used to work, but then i put on the omega drivers and it stopped working.i've uninstalled omega drivers and put back the nvidia ones yet still nothing as i dont think omega drivers uninstalled fully. If u've had this problem or can help in anyway i would appriciate it.

My Specs if it helps:
XP 1800+ @ 2000+ (143*11.5=1644mhz)
GeForce4 Ti4200 (Gainward, GoldsenSample, 128mb, core@290, mem@533)
Windows XP Pro
Nvidia 29.80 detonators

try uninstalling the game and delete all the files of gta3 that weren't deleted during install like the ones in my documents-don't delete your savegames . Reinstall the game and now it should work, at least that worked for me.Hope this helpes you out

download detonator destroyer, run it, reinstall the drivers and the game, and see if that works.

Hmm, doesnt seem to be working...

I'll just have to format soon to fix it i guess.
Has anyone been having troubles with the omega drivers too ?
