Can't get a game to run.

I just installed the latest omega drivers for my fx 5900 ultra for winxp. I played Raven shield and it ran great, much better than with the nvidia detonator drivers. But, then I started GTA III and it wouldn't even start up. It flashed the first start up icon for a second then just stayed at the desktop. Everything else I've tried seems to work alright, but I don't have all of my games installed on this new pc yet: Amd xp 3000, gf fx 5900 ultra, 1 gig of corsair xms ram, extra cooling fans, 420 watt power, sb audigy gamer, 120 gig hd, dvd, cdrw, etc.
