Default Post Anti-Aliasing problems

I seem to have a small problem when tring to use anti-aliasing (FSAA). When FSAA is enabled there is some color banding, like in 16-bit mode vissible. I first noticed this in the 3Dmark 2001, Dragothic, where the fog didn't look very good. Now I see this effect in all games/programs.

I run the applications in 32 bit colors and use the Nvidia detonators (the latest one) with my ASUS GF4 Ti4400 (AMD XP +1800 and so on...)

Does anyone else have this problem, or is it even a problem...

Is there anything I can do. The banding is so ugly that I don't want to use FSAA anymore...

Is your card overclocked when this banding appears?

which fsaa method are you using? try 4Xs and see if that clears anything up.

No overclocking whatsoever. And there is no difference with different settings of Anisotrophy. Do you have any idéas about what it could be? Please!

try running the asus 28.80's, as i heard that asus may have modded this card to the point that asus drivers work better than nv's.

Thanks for your help guys!

It seems like the new leaked 30.30 driver did the bussines! No more FSAA issues!
