found a link but no reseller info. i don't know if this is a free d/l for people with nvidia cards or if it's shareware, or simply buy-to-use though

I'm pretty sure that it is available with the eVGA line of GeForce 4 Ti's I don't know if you can buy it there but they have an article linked from their main page.

The Evga Site has a link to the upgrade ver1.22 but Original serial # is required.

This is lame nVidia creates a DVD player to properly utilise the the features and power of
our cards and we can't even get a copy legally. I'm sure I could find a warez download of it but I would rather purchase the program.

I would like to nVidia or any of it's card manufacturers offer this program.

And it DOES suck - we'll rip 377Mb of drivers from Compaq, dodge the flack over driver leaks etc.

PowerDVD still my fav, even on the leadtek 4600. NVDVD is pretty good as well, but I just love Powerdvd.

ehh, my hollywood plus card will always have better quality than any software player. i've tried powerdvdXP, windvd4, nvdvd, and trial versions of all the others. there's just no comparison.
