My buddy has a GeForce 2 Ultra and got the 23.11 drivers and had excellent results with those. He's running an AMD Ant. 1.4 and Windows XP Pro.

I used to recommend the 12.90s for GF2s, but the 28.90s and above are even better!

There isn't one really - 1 driver might work best for you and worse for me - its a matter of trial and error to find the best driver...

I like the 28.32 driver for its stability. I'm overclocking the driver in Riva & get 16% on the core & ~19% on the memory w/o any stability problem. The 23.11, 29.20 & 29.42 won't do that for me.

Try http://www.voodoofiles.com or http://www.guru3d.com for the files. Might have to look in 'archives'.

HTH,

Hmmm, I've an ASUS v7700 (GeForce2 GTS, 32 DDR), WinXPpro, too, seems to me there's no difference in drivers beyond the 23.xx ones... Dunno, I've stopped downloading new ver's, gave up since nothing really boosted performance on my card...

As far as speed goes you may want to try the 22.80 build. I also agree with Zarathustra that the 12.90 should work well with that card. If you need a specific driver build just post here and I will point you in the right direction. I have burnt a cd with Det's from 2.XX up to 23.11.

Well, I'm running build 29.42, everything's working just fine!

AFAIK, I've also a bunch of Det's, thrown all over my disk, don't actually keep record of 'em
...to much designing crap pilled up on my disk, who'd know
