Sad Triplex Geforce 4 MX440 AGP8X TX-680 dsplay problem

Aloha,
I have the card mentioned in the topic and I cannot get dual monitors (I want same picture on monitor and tv but tv at a lower resoloution for watching video files). My pcs specs are,
MSI-6309 Motherboard
P3 733mhz
256mb sd-ram
Win2000 with sp4 aswell as all the critical windows updates and some of the general updates aswell.

I have tried a variety of nvidia drivers but none seem to do what I want. The problem is that I can switch between the monitor and the tv fine but I am unable to get them running simultaneously. When I go into Display - Settings - Advanced - GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X - Display Mode, all the nview modes are ghosted over and none of the options are selectable. Messing around with a few settings I can get the Standard (nview disabled) mode selected but the other three modes (clone, horizontal span, verticle span) are still ghosted.

I have to use the Force detection of TV option to allow the card to let me at least switch to the tv. I am currently using Omega drivers 4523 (i think) but that doesnt seem to fix the problem.

I am also connecting the tv to the computer via the yellow video cable (i.e. not s-video) from the tvs video input to the video output plug on my vivo multi-plug thingy that came with the card.

It appears a few people seem to have similar problems with this type of card but I havent been able to resolve the issue by reading through their forum posts and using the advice given there.

Any help is appreciated as this was one of the features I specifically bought this card for.
Thanks in advance,
em-pathy

Did you restart your computer with both monitor and TV connections hooked on?
Try and fiddle around with some of the options. My Ti4200 couldn't output to the TV before and I had to try it out a few times. Although I have a Triplex MX440 card, it doesn't have TVO. I'm out of my league.
