the omega 14523a version is much better then the new omega 15303

i installed the new omega drivers and my games run allot slower, like the original nvidia drivers. the 14523a drivers are magical or something , im telling you! the games run alot faster, and theres alot of bugs in games that this drivers fix, like light and shadow in splinter sell..but in 3dmark im loosing 1000 points. whats up with that? .. any way, i think the 14523a drivers are better...but that just me.

Hmm....
Aren't the 15303drivers optimized for FX cards? So stability and performance should be better with your FX5900.
Mine's a Ti4200, therefore I'm not switching.

For my personal preference I still prefer the 1.4523 set over the new one, BUT, since many have asked for an updated set, I had to give them something, even if it is based on inferior drivers, like the new 5.x.xx series.
Anyway, I hope the next ones based on the official 56.72 do a little better.

I was having problems with black screens on a couple of MS simulators with the 5303 drivers and was getting a 3D Mark 2001 of 12995. Switched to the 4403 drivers, fixed my simulator problem and got a 3D Mark of 14000. Gainward 4200 Golden Sample.
Regards
Bill
