Nvidia GeForce FX Go5200 vs City of Heroes

Hello-

I've been having a horrible time trying to get City of Heroes to work with my GeForce FX Go5200 (Dell Inspirion 5150, p4 3.0, 512 RAM). I've tried every driver I could find from Nvidia and Dell and even tried the latest Omega set (black screen on startup, the card is not supported yet).

CoH Support says it's my machine and drivers, but I'm at a loss as what to do next. I've updated drivers, defraged, virus and spy-checked, driver cleaned, and even did a voodoo dance but nothing's worked. My system will lock up on the Enhancements menu screen or when changing zones. I've read about "Detonators" on this forum and wonder if they could work for me?

I'm having exactly the same trouble with my Gericom p4 3.0, 512 ram, GeForce FX Go5600.

CoH is the only thing I cant get running on it so far

With the latest patch to CoH if I turn the texture resolution to medium I dont crash anymore.
In the technical area of the CoH boards they state laptops are not supported and you'll see many people have been experiencing problems.
