Info on 40 Dets for 9x/me!!!!! (KEYWORD: Next week. :) )

I just read a thread over at nVnews forums about someone who tried something goofy and actually dropped a line to nVidia about the 9x/me drivers rather than just whining on every board he could find about them. (mental note to self: Remember that trick for future reference...)

They replied, said next week.

Will the neat little NV30 emulation trick be available - and dare I try 'em on a lowly GF2 MX ?

I noticed the emulation mentioned OpenGL - not sure if DirectX is covered ?

Detonator 40 is still BETA for WinXP/2000

It would seem that the Win9x/ME version is probaly not coming out until the 40 is out of beta ... But if you're listening, Nvidia, SOON would be nice.
