Are you using the 44.03's for benchmarking? I'm trying to tweak my card (ti 4200 128 8X) for gaming, and have seen quite a few people raving about the 44.03 set - so far, I'm doing better w/45.23's (none of the newer ones worked well).

I no longer have the Ti4200, i replaced it with an Fx5900. I used the 44.03 drivers for benching and also got the best game play, i tried the 45.23 and ran into lots of Windows errors and slugish game play. It could have been that my Gainward Ti4200 just liked the 44.03's better, hardware has a big impact on what drivers you use. With my Fx5900, i have tried all the latest drivers especially the one the other members have raved about using them on their Fx5900's and i usually see no performance or visual quality improvement. I would try a few like i did and stick with the one you like the best
