Default Post Wierd effect with nVidia drivers in FS

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone can shed some light on my prob?

I have a Creative GeForce2 Pro 64MB DDR card and WinMe and I like to play FS2002, however, if I use any drivers other than 2185's which are quite old now, it's hard to describe but I get a weird purple mottle fading effect on the instrument panel.

It's not usually straight away, it's whenever I bring up the menu bar or click on something on the panel, people on the FS forum have been raving about Omega's drivers on the quality setting so I tried those and unfortunately the same problem occurs.

Any idea why this may be happening?

Thanks in advance,

FSpilot

I have been told on another forum that setting the colour to 32-bit eliminates the problem, I have tried it and it seems to be ok now, so that's what to do if anyone else experiences the same.

Cheers.
