??? Omega driver for Nvidia GeForce FX Go5700

I have an HP zd7000 notebook with an Nvidia GeForce FX Go5700. I would like to upgrade to the Omega drivers, but I read this on Nvidia's site (http://www.nvidia.com/object/IO_13953.html):

"Mobile GPU's like the GeForce Go and Quadro Go family of mobile GPU's
use drivers that have been customized to support hot key functions,
power management functions, lid close and suspend/resume behavior that
are normally found in notebooks. The reference drivers that are
provided by NVIDIA on our driver downloads page do not include these
custom features."

So my question is, will using the Omega drivers instead of the drivers supplied by HP affect me in any serious way? e.g. would I still be able to suspend my notebook using the Omega drivers? Any other side effects from using the Omega drivers instead of HP drivers? For your reference here's the page containing the newest HP drivers:

Thanks in advance,
Tom

They should work, afaik. I'm using them on my laptop.

And even if they don't work, you can always reinstall th eolder drivers.
