Can't change drivers

Hi,
I'm currently using the Omega 5303 drivers. However, I seem to be stuck with them. I upgraded to the Omega 5672. Everything works fine, except fs9. The Omega driver cleaner refuses to run as it won't accept that I am on Omega drivers. I understand that there is a problem with the 5672/fs9 so I tried the official Nvidia drivers 6172. Again, everything works fine except fs9. I get the same fault. It wont even load. Put the Omega 5303 back and fs9 starts straight up. Try to change them and the Omega driver cleaner tells me it is only for Omega drivers and quits. Any pointers to what the hecks wrong would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Russell.
