After installing the latest det 40.41 drivers, & going to display properties/settings/advanced/ & then trying to open the geforce3 Ti 200 tab, well, nothing happens. So I'm unable to get to the nvidia settings.
Ideas anyone ? many thanks

Well its obvious that you had other drivers before you installed the 40.41s right ??
Its simple: You didnt follow the instructions (RTFM) a) go to control panel and add/remove and UNINSTALL any reference to nvidia drivers(you may have 2) b) restart and install the fresh set. Caution! if you can go back to the add/remove BEFORE you install drivers and check to see if any other drivers are still there and if so uninstall those also. Also create you signature here at DH with system specs/operating system etc. so we can halp you better . |

Had a good trawl through the registry after doing as you suggested & things are now OK -apart from some trouble with the onboard sound.
thanks a lot.......
