Quicktime problems after installing latest nVidia Omega drivers...

I had to get Omega drivers for my card, GeForce 4200 Go, as Dell hasn't updated their drivers in nearly a year. After I downloaded and installed the drivers, which worked wonders for City of Heroes (it was nearly unplayable due to the outdated drivers), Quicktime won't play properly.

Well, it'll play, but for some reason it'll switch into some kind of full screen mode and I can't get it back to it's small size. Also, while it's in full screen, I can not stop or pause Quicktime, or perform any functions with my computer without having to hold down the power button and reboot.

Has anyone else come across this problem? I can't say for sure that it's the drivers that are causing the problems, but QT worked fine before I installed them, and it hasn't worked right ever since.

Any tips?

For some reason I can not uninstall Quicktime. I get a message saying that there is some application that is currently using Quicktime, and that I need to end that program before I can proceed with the uninstall. To the best of my knowledge I have nothing currently running that is using Quicktime.

Can anyone tell me how I can find out what this phantom program is that's using Quicktime?

Uninstall QT in 'Safemode' this will stop any process from accessing QT.
It sounds like this is the problem.

Well, I uninstalled QT successfully, and reinstalled it just a moment ago. It's still busted.

Oh well, I guess there's not a whole lot I can do about it at this point so I'll just live with it for the time being. When/if Dell releases new drivers for my card I'll update my pc with them and see if it is in fact the Omega drivers that are causing my problems here.

And really, not being able to use QT properly is a very small price to pay since I can now play City of Heroes with no problems at all thanks to the Omega drivers. Once I'm through with that game I can always reinstall the current Dell drivers to (hopefully) get my QT functions back, but I'm not too worried about it at the moment.

Thanks for the help guys.
