6800GT Low FPS in Tribes Vengeance

For some reason my FPS in Tribes Vengeance is just awful. I get around 30-40 frames per second on average and if im lucky i get 50. These are on like medium settings at only 800X600. If i drop everything to low, and 640X480 im able to get about 70-80 FPS.

However this just doesn't make sense that I get such low framerates when i get 70-80 FPS in Doom3 at ultra settings...=(

I tried installing Omega drivers, but for some reason it wont let me update the drivers. When I click the update driver and browse in my computer it basically says that the .INF file doesn't have a newer or better version of the driver for my 6800GT.

Im using the EVGA 256 MB 6800GT and Running DX9c. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
