Forceware 66.31 WHQL



[Guru3d.com]

[font=Arial]Window 2000/XP

Station Drivers*got their grubby little paws on ForceWare 66.31. The files are dated on the 25th of August*2004 and will work with GeForce FX and upwards. This driver has been WHQL classified.

We haven't had time to test these fully and bare*in mind they are Beta WHQL so please be careful. We do not know where these drivers originate from.

The driver includes a handy setup.exe and international language files. We recompressed it towards a 15MB file-size.

Remember, these driver need to be considered Beta, use them at your own risk. If you give the drivers a try then be sure to let us know your experiences in our NVIDIA driver forums.

As always we adware and virus checked the files.

MOST FIXED DVD ISSUES WITH FX CARDS

HAS DVD ENCODER/DECODER PARTIALLY INITIALISED FOR 6x00's

BUG IN 65.76 WHERE POWERDVD WOULD SHOW HALF SCREEN WHEN KEEP ASPECT RATIO IS UNTICKED IS FIXED

DRIVERS RUN STABLE AND WELL

6x00 USERS ARE EXPERIENCING PERFORMANCE INCREASES

A MUST HAVE FOR DOOM 3 AND FARCRY

working good for me so far

also

Depth bound is initialised (Ultra shadow 2)

as some doom 3 players. have noted that when depth bound is enabled thier performance goes up i think it was 17fps.... could have been 7 but hey its still an increase

heh.....i just re-installed winXP like two days ago, simply to install the 66.00s. i'm not going to do that again for these new beta drivers.

i'll prolly check them out somewhat soonish though

they work well so far... my dvd issues are fixed from what i can see...

haven't had time to game yet but 3dmark03 works

no i don't. i had done a fresh install a few days earlier, and didn't have anything other than drivers and windows updates on my system, so i decided on re-installing winXP.

All demanding games stutters , i tested it on older games such as
Elite force II the quality is better and no stuttering.

The common advantage is, improved Quality.

I go back to the 65.73 Forceware.

yes i saw that. But just because somebody has an ATI card in their sig doesn't mean that they've used and/or have an nVidia card. even if it is a 5200, people can still game (play doom III) on that card. I've seen people game on a G4 MX400 64Mb. I was like wow, it sux (game quality), but it can still play.

Agreed. 3DMark03 showed an increase from 9700's to 10,221 for me. I'd have to say that's SOME kinda improvement.

NEW : DVD OUT OF SYNC PROBLEMS ARE STILL OCCURRING

i don't think its the fact my 5900xt has a custom made by me bios though...lol

i modded it from 390/700 to 450/850

i'm d/ling the drivers right now. i wanted to break 13k on 3Dmark03 earlier this morning while it was still cold to get the best possible score out of my system. that didn't happen :\. I tried installing the newest intel inf drivers, and imna install these new drivers.....i'm thinking about another OS install for both....it's been a while hehehe.
