Someone wanna help a needy gamer out?!

I hate my 4200 ti!

It has been a long time since I've posted on here... man life started moving quick... (I like it when things are slower)

Anyway, I updated my drivers (for once) the other day... abnd Im running the 62.xx drivers...

and well, they suck to be frank. I need to opinions on what to use with my setup. (4200 ti 64mb.)

are the 5x.xx series the driver to be ... or should I find some good 6.x.xx series to work with...?

Whats your guys experience?!

thanks guys.

The last "best" set of drivers for your videocard can be found at the link below.

Well, the GeForce4's are a few years old...it's just about their time.

(when I saw that I wasn't able to do certain things with my 4200Ti, I realized that it was becoming outdated...luckily...I got a 6800GT for my birthday from my roommate. )

for the geforce4 series cards the best drivers are actually the 4 series drivers...they yeild the highest benchmarks...and newer drivers are loaded with features that your card doesnt support...so its not necessarily worth updating.

I thought that as well, Until I loaded on the 1.5672a Omega Drivers. I had the card in my machine only 2 weeks ago. For me, those were the ones that outdid all others.

I'm thinking when those TI's came out they were a little ahead of there time! , my 6800 should be here today or or tomorrow but I'll run the TI in my server anyway! Hell of a card, sure has been good!

You have a vacancy? I'd like a 6800GT, too.

Really, my Ti4200 worked well with Omega's 1.4523a. Anything older than a Ti4200 I'd recommend this version.

they did a test over at guru3d and the tweaked (starstorm or omegas) of the 45s performed the best for that card.
