ti4200 - Best drivers for UT2004?

Hi,
I built a budget machine recently -

Athlon XP 2500
512mb DDR 400 RAM
Abit NF7 Onboard Sound
TI4200 AGP 8X 128mb

and am playing mostly ut 2004 and its mods. ive been using the most recent omega drivers.

just wondering which drivers you guys recommend for ut2004 with this card? Im after performance, rather than image quality. Cheers

Then you've got the right drivers for the game. Although you might benefit from running UT2k4 in OpenGL.

I have the videocard you mention, and for some reason it handles OpenGL better than it does DirectX.

(to get a little extra performance outa the game, you might try turning some stuff in the game off.)

Open gl - i dont remember seeing that option? ah well ill find out im sure, ill give it a go.

performance isnt too bad actually, however a few extra frames would be nice. i normally get 40 - 70 in frag ops, but 30-45 in red orchestra (mods for ut).

If you're into the first UT...then you should play 155/55 Instagib CTF.
