Need a little help plz

OK, i just bought a 6800GT and im still having the same problem as i had with my 9600XT, the vissible area on my screen keeps shifting sometimes smaller sometimes bigger, to the left,right, up down. when ever i open a window i can see the screen shifting. sometimes when i open a game ill have a big black bar on the bottom or sides and i have to adjust it with my monitor. there has to be a way to fix this, plz if you know anything on the matter plz help. I am using the latest drivers from nvidia website.

Monitor calibration.

Set your videocard to 640x480, and calibrate your screensize to what you'd like it to be. (settings on your monitor.)

Then repeat for 800x600, 1024x768 etc etc as needed.

NEC MultiSync FE700 its old but still decent

Maybe you should think about a new monitor in the future? NEC hasn't made anything "groundbreaking" since the time of the TurboGrafx-16/DUO.

If you have a spare monitor laying around like a lot of "geeks". You might wanna give your other one a shot. Might have better results.
