Try MultiRes 1.47 instead. Run the program and when installing set it to start when the computer starts up. Afterwards right click on the icon in the taskbar and goto about -- put a check on 'lock refresh rates'. Afterwards right click on it again and use the menu to change to every resolution that you use and then use the same menu to select your refresh rate. Whatever refresh rate you pick will be locked in as long as the program is running. It's small, free, and barely takes up any memory.
