Ok i'm trying to help a buddy out so any info would be great. He has a FX5200/256 PCI card. I know what your saying oh god not PCI...lol Anyway it run fine but is there anyway to tweak this card for better performance or will the omega drivers help the card to perform better?

Download NV Hardpage and disable Unified Back Buffer under the Open Gl tab if it is enabled. I have a FX 5200 128 MB PCI. It runs games decent.

Yes, it helps alot. Most drivers enable it by default. Also, in NV hardpage you have to click enable then disable to really disaboe it.

Yes. Set the quality slider to quality and enable the ansiotropic and trilinear optimizations. Use Rivatuner to set the buffered frames to 0 in direct x and the lowest setting (which I think is 2) in Open GL. You can also disable vsync and use 8x ansiotropic filtering in most games with the 5200. Use application profiles. The best resolution for most games is 1024 x 768. Set the system memory for PCI textures to 0 in Direct 3d and the minimum in Open GL with Rivatuner. Set it to compress to dxt3 instead of dxt1 under Open GL in Rivatuner. Hope I helped you. Also use the 66.81 drivers. They have the app profile bug, but the settings will remain after you exit and renter the Nvidia control panel.
