Which Drivers for GeForce 3 Ti200
I have a Geforce 3 Ti200 installed on one of my PC's and want to get the best performance I can out of it. At the moment I have the "stock" Nvidia 53.03 drivers installed. No real problems except I notice that even when doing a fresh install of XP the boot up time of Windows lags quite a bit after the Nvidia drivers have been installed. More specifically, there are two lag periods: on the screen with the moving blue bars and secondly, when the screen goes blank. The lag happens on every boot and is several seconds.
Anyway, any comments or advice welcomed. Bill. |

I have a standard Geforce 3, and I just update to the latest drivers whenever they are available (currently using 66.81). I've never experienced the 'lag' you describe with any driver set.

Sorted!
I've uninstalled the old 53.03 drivers and used 'Driver Cleaner'. Then I installed the Omega 56.72a drivers (quality mode) and everything now seems great. Boot speeds are what I wolud call normal.
