Hey Outrageous
I have the same card, im using the Omega driver 56.72 that seens to work best on my PC, or it gives me the best performance.
I have no Idea why you have Probs with shaders and others stuff cause all the drivers works fine on my card.
Did you remember to deactivate any antivirus software that runs in the background when you installed cause if you didnt it can cause all sorts of wierd problems with your driver!!.
sorry I cant be of more help to ya

hello as for your overclocking i do believe gigabyte has dipswitches for front side bus speeds on the board by the socket you may have to change them to get a better overclock or you may need some headroom in your ram if you could give us your specs it would help
